Face Of Maritime International (FOMI) recently paid a courtesy visit to the management of Melsmore Marine Nigeria Ltd, a marine services company for its support to the brand during FOMI 2024 Women Empowerment programme/Grand Finale earlier held in Sept this year.
The visit also afforded FOMI Management the opportunity to express its appreciation to the company for employing its former Queen, Grace Omede who studied Marine Engineering and currently working onboard the company’s vessels as a 3rd Engineer.
Other areas of collaborations between the two organisations were also discussed during the visit.
Recall that Face of Maritime International (FOMI) is a beauty pageant of international standards that uses beauty queens as role models to champion gender advocacy, women empowerment and gender inclusion in the maritime sector.
Whereas Melsmore Marine Nigeria Ltd is a management company that provides towage services within the Dangote jetties, Lekki Deep Seaport and the Lekki Free Trade Zone area in Lagos.
