It was another successful edition of Maritime Career Mentorship Programme (M-CAMP) last week Friday as Platforms Communications, a leading media firm in the Nigerian maritime sector began the 2025 M-CAMP series by organising a mentoring program for maritime law students.

The program which held at the training room of the Nigerian Shippers Council, Apapa-Lagos had in attendance students from the Maritime Forum, University of Lagos Akoko; the Maritime Club from Lagos State University, Ojo and the Maritime Law Students Society from the Obafemi Awolowo Univeristy, Ile-Ife, Osun state.

Addressing newsmen after the program, the convener, Mr Sylvanus Obasi expressed gratitude to the Nigerian Shippers Council, the resource persons and the collaborators saying, “Many thanks to our Panel of Mentors comprising, Barr Temisan OMATSEYE, Former DG NIMASA and Principal Partner, TRK Solicitors; Barr Victor Onyegbado, Associate, Akabogu Law; Barr OGONNAYA EMELE, Associate, Bloomfield LP; Barr Cornelius Okey Gabriel, Maritime & Dispute Resolution Counsel, Olisa Agbakoba Legal; and Barr Tosan Edodo-Emore, Associate, O.Edodo,Thorpe and Associates”.
