The Annual Maritime Students And Youth Conference (AMSAY CONFERENCE) originally known as “A Day With Nigerian Maritime Students” is a youth-centric maritime industry succession plan programme which converge both the young and experienced maritime practitioners and engage them in topical discussions that proffer solutions to critical and contemporary issues affecting the future of Nigerian maritime industry.
The Conference is convened annually by Platforms Communications on 27th May each year since 2016 as a mentoring, networking and capacity-building program designed to bridge the knowledge gap between the young and old maritime professionals in Nigeria.

PURPOSE & BENEFITS: AMSAY Conference provides a suitable avenue for the students and up-coming maritime professionals to meet, interact and gain practical knowledge from industry professionals beyond the classroom teachings.
– The event avails the students the opportunity to voice their challenges, ask pertinent questions and enable government agencies, private companies and industry players to understand the challenges of the students with a view to helping them overcome such challenges and better position themselves for success as future leaders and successors of the industry.
