Face Of Maritime International (FOMI) has felicitated Chief Mrs Onome Joy Monije on her recent conferenment as the OMESIRI R’UVWIE of Uvwie by the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Dr Emmanuel Sideso Abe 1.
The occasion which happened last Saturday at the Palace of Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom in Uvwie local government area of Delta state was part of the ceremonial activities marking the 18th Coronation Anniversary of the Ovie of Uvwie.
In a felicitation message sent to Chief Monije, the Director of Face of Maritime International, Mr Sylva Obasi eulogised the Omesiri R’uvwie for her kind-heartedness, describing her honour as well-deserving.

According to the FOMI Director, “Your chieftancy honour is a testament of your immense contributions to humanity and particularly to your community. It reminds us that no good effort goes unnoticed and unrewarded”
“The management of Face of Maritime International is elated by this your honour and happily facilitates with you, even as we pray God to continue to grant you more wisdom, strength and protection as you continue to impart your community positively”, Obasi stated.

Recall that Chief Mrs Onome Monije is a well known licensed customs agent and one of the women leaders in the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA).
As a lover of youth advocacy and women empowerment, Chief Monije has supported several youth initiatives both in her community and within the maritime sector. She was Head of the Welfare Committee at the 10th Anniversary of Face of Maritime International held last October in Lagos.
