The Area Manager, National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) Calabar Area Office, Mr Stanley Onuoha has bagged a doctorate degree from the University of Calabar, Cross River State.
Dr Onuoha earlier served as Head of Marine at the Lagos Area Office of NIWA before his promotion and deployment to Calabar where he currently heads the Area Office.
The renowned engineer, Dr Stanley Onuoha was awarded Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Transportation and Industrial Studies at the 38th Doctoral Convocation Ceremony of the University of Calabar held last Saturday in Calabar, Cross River state.
To celebrate this uncommon feat, a Reception and Thanksgiving Service was held in his honour yesterday where friends, family and well wishers converged to celebrate him and thank God for His grace upon him.
Meanwhile, maritime stakeholders have joined other well-wishers to send congratulatory messages to Dr Stanley Onuoha, applauding his zeal for knowledge while urging him to apply his knowledge, experience and skills in repositioning inland water transportation in Calabar.
