Platforms Communications Concludes Q3 M-CAMP, Set For Q4 In October

Platforms Communications, organisers of the quarterly Maritime Career Mentorship Programme (M-CAMP) has concluded yet another successful third quarter edition of the program; and getting set for the 4th and last quarter edition slated for October 11, 2024.

The 2024 third quarter edition held last Friday at the Nigerian Shippers Council was targeted for students of Shipping Management, Transport and Logistics, Ports and Terminal Management, Maritime Transportation and Business Studies (MBTS) as well young freight forwarders and customs agents. 

In a press statement issued after the program, the Chief Executive of Platforms Communications, Mr Sylvanus Obasi expressed gratitude to the mentors, supporters and participants in the program.

“Many thanks to our Panel of Mentors comprising, Mr Pius Ukeyima Akutah, E.S, Nigerian Shippers Council ably represented by Mr Ndukwe Emenike, Assistant Director, Standard Division of Regulatory Services; Dr Boniface Aniebonam, Founder of NAGAFF who was ably represented by Dr C.C Iwegbuna, National Publicity Secretary of NAGAFF.

The Frontline maritime journalist further revealed that the next edition of M-CAMP coming up in October is meant for students of Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, Maritime Safety & Security Management, Able Seamen; Cadets and young seafeares. 

Recall that the Maritime Career Mentorship Programme M-CAMP is an interactive mentorship session designed to provide career guidance and impart practical industry knowledge to maritime students as well as to young and upcoming maritime practitioners.
