The Nigeria Maritime Ambassadors Reality TV Show (NIMA) has commenced registration for audition of interested candidates who want to contest in Season 2 of the maritime industry Reality TV Show.
This was made known in a press briefing held recently in Lagos by Platform Reporters, organisers and promoters of the brand.
Addressing newsman during the briefing, the Project Director of NIMA Reality TV Show, Mr Sylvanus Obasi revealed that the title of Season 2 is tagged, “Talent Optima Edition” because emphasize would be on developing and optimizing raw talents of the housemates towards becoming solution providers using their talents and skills.
According to him, “In this Season 2 of NIMA Reality TV Show, we are looking for young and self-motivated individuals who are talented and skillful in the areas of drama, acting, music, singing, dancing, comedy, skit-making, modeling,
marine operations, speech presentation and excellent communication and marketing skills”.
“Highly spirited persons who understand that talent alone is not enough, that one needs to harness the talents and imbibe other virtues and qualities needed to navigate life in general and make most use of their talents or skills in providing solutions to societal issues and problems”.
Speaking further, the frontline maritime journalist revealed that the star prize of NIMA Reality TV Show Season 2 is ten million naira (#10,000,000:00) worth of deals, which compeises of a car, cash prize, luxury vacation, media tours and promotions as well as one year endorsement deal as Nigeria Maritime Ambassador.
He also disclosed that eligibility to contest in NIMA Reality TV Show included the following:
– Young and single guys and ladies
– Age is 18 – 40 years old.
– Can be a citizen of Nigeria or a foreigner
– Minimum education qualification is ‘O’ Level (SSCE).
– Ready to abide by the terms and conditions guiding NIMA Contest.
Recall that NIMA Reality TV Show is a 30 talent/skills development programme and youth empowerment initiative aimed at moulding talented youngsters towards becoming solution providers by using their skills and talents to drive positive changes in our society.
NIMA Season 1 was won by Winnie Ogunsakin, a 22 year old indigene of Ondo State who studied English Language and Linguistics; while Wilson and McNamara emerged 1st and 2nd Runners Up respectively.
