The Management of Platforms Communications has commended and congratulated the National President, Nigerian Merchant Navy Officers and Water Transport Senior Staff Association (NMNOWTSSA), Comrade Bob Yousou as well as the President- General, Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade Adewale Adeyanju for emerging victorious and clinching leadership positions at the keenly contested elections during the International Transport Workers Federation (ITF) Conference held recently in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire.
Recall that while Engr. Yousou emerged, Chairman International Transport Workers Federation (ITF) Africa Seafarers, Comrade Adeyanju clinched the position of the Chairman, West Africa and Vice President, ITF, Africa region.

PLATFORM REPORTERS gathered that in a separate letters addressed to the respective individuals and signed by the Managing Director of Platforms Communications, Mr Sylvanus Obasi, he said, “Your elections into the Leadership of ITF in Africa is a thing of pride and a testament of Nigeria’s vantage position in championing the welfare of seafarers and transport workers in the continent.
