The Onne Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has received an Award and Certificate of Excellence for being the Best in Anti-Smuggling by saving a lot of lives from destruction through the interception of arms, ammunition and drugs.
The award was presented to the command during the just concluded CGC’s Award Night held last Friday in Abuja.
Speaking on the award, the Customs Area Controller of Onne Command, Comptroller Mohammed Babandede attributed the honour to team effort, saying he could not have done it alone if not for the role every officer and men in the Command played in ensuring public health and safety of lives.
He appreciated every officer and men of the Command for their contribution towards making the country safe.
