The Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCFR, GCON has lauded the business acumen of the Founder and Chairman of Starzs Investments Company Ltd, Engr Greg Ogbeifun and that of the Managing Director and Cheif Executive Officer, Ms Iroghama Ogbeifun for achieving a remarkable milestone of sustaining excellence in business for 40 years.
The Former President gave this commendation in a goodwill message delivered virtually to the company at a Symposium held last Friday in Port Harcourt to conclude a week-long chain of activities marking the 40th Anniversary Celebrations of the company.
According to Jonathan, in a business environment that has often been challenging, Starzs Investments has distinguished itself as a leading indigenous enterprise in Nigeria’s maritime and offshore logistics sector; contributing significantly to national economic development and capacity building, a remarkable milestone which the the former president said is a testament to four decades of resilience, vision, hard work and commitment to excellence.
“I commend the Managing Director, Ms Iroghama Ogbeifun, whose leadership continues to build on the strong foundation laid by the company’s founders. Her dedication to excellence and commitment to advancing Nigeria’s maritime sector exemplify the qualities required to drive sustainable economic progress in our nation”.
“I also congratulate the Board and the entire Starzs family for sustaining a legacy that has endured for forty years. Such longevity in business is not achieved by chance; it is earned through integrity, adaptability, strategic thinking and an unwavering commitment to delivering value”.
The amiable former president ended his goodwill message with a charge to the company leadership, urging it to continue to inspire the next generation of indigenous business owners to dream boldly and contribute meaningfully to national development.

Meanwhile the week-long activities marking the 40th Anniversary Celebrations of Starzs Investments Company Ltd ended on Friday with a Symposium and Gala Night bringing together captains of industries, government representatives and top practitioners in the Nigerian maritime, finance, business and oil and gas sectors.
