The Nigeria Customs Service, Seme Area Command Football Club and Badagry United Football Club played a Novelty Match on Wednesday at the Customs Barracks Seme to welcome Controller Ben ORAMALUGO PhD as the new Controller of the Nigeria Customs Service Seme Area Command .
Ben took the mantle of leadership on the 12th February 2025 as the substantial Controller of the premier Command.
Platform Reporters gathered that although the Seme Customs Football Club has been in existence for a long time, the founder of the Badagry United Club is the indefatigable DCG Bello Jibo during his stay in Seme as Controller.
According to Controller Ben, “This particular club was instituted by DCG Bello who happens to be my boss and brother and I don’t think as am here, will allow the Badagry Football team he started to collapse. I will do whatever thing I can to make sure the football team succeeds. Maybe from this club, our stars will play at the national level. The journey of one thousand miles. starts from one step “.
Speaking further, Compt. Oramalugo said, “I have spoken with the Coaching Director, Danladi Musa and that of the Nigeria Customs Service Seme Command, Moruf Matomi in which they told me all the requirements and I assured them we will solve the problems and possibly increase your welfare”.
“All I need from you is discipline, dedication and love one another to enable us archive our aim.
“I bring the word of my CGC, Adewale Adeniyi MFR to you that he is interested in what you’re doing. He is interested in youth development so I wish you good luck”, he cocnluded.
Platform Reporters also gathered that the game ended in a draw with one goal appease to both sides.
Star player of the Badagry Football Club is Victor Okechukwu Agali who played with the Nigerian Super Eagles while the keepers are Dala and Gbenga for the Nigeria Customs and Badagry Clubs respectively.
Patron of the Badagry club is Zarki Adamu and that of the Nigeria Customs Service Seme Area Command is no other person than the Controller , Comptroller Ben Oramalugo PhD.
